Joseph La Rose designed and sold ladies shoes in Jacksonville, Florida from 1949 to 1999. Over the years his imagination created many fun and unusual designs. Best of all, you won't find them anywhere else, old or new. His designs died with him, but many of his great creations live on, discovered in his warehouse shortly after his death a few years ago. This is one of his more unusal and exciting designs.
This shoes are a 7-1/2 N with a 2-1/2" heel. They are signed 'LaRose' on one insole and 'Andrew Geller' (the manufacturer) on the other.
Excellent Condition. Never worn. Purchased from his warehouse lot. No scrapes, nicks, or mildew. The soles are unworn; the small metal taps on the toes (on sole bottom) have rusted. The insoles are perfect. There is one very small spot on one shoe that looks just slightly lighter in color, however, as the shoes shine in the light, it gives the appearance of a shiny spot, therefore is well camouflaged and insignificant. The heels and heel tips show no wear.
