Can you guess the manufacturer of this lucite handbag? Although unsigned, this is a Toro bag produced in the 1950's. It is high-quality, thick and shiny lucite in a mod barrel shape with a waffle-cut top. This bag measures 7-3/4" wide x 4-1/2" high (without the handle) x 4-1/4" deep.
Excellent condition. There are no cracks, crazing, nicks, warping, odors, or clouding. The clasp clicks securely closed. The metal hardware has lost some of its shine; the metal encircled around the lucite handle has some color variation and wear to the finish, but nothing noticeably objectionable and absolutely no rust.
