1930's Classy Evening Bag

Sold to us as a child's handbag, this is actually an elegant 1930's or possibly 40's evening bag, definitely not a child's purse. It is by Miss Lewis and is an open bag with a coin purse attached and standing firming straight in the middle. The nice handle length provides carrying over the shoulder or over the arm. The decorative handle attachments on each side are gold and silver and shinier than in the photos.
Measures 7" wide x 4-1/2" high x 3-1/2" deep. The handle drop is 11".
Near mint. The metal shows no wear or scratches whatsoever, just shine. The material has a satiny finish and shows no stains or wear. Appears never used. When not full, it sits just slightly crooked.
As always, black can be exceedingly difficult to photograph and even more so when the material has a satiny finish. What may look like wear is simply glare. We struggled with this.
