Joseph LaRose designed and sold ladies shoes in Jacksonville, Florida from 1949 to 1999. His designs were manufactured by several companies throughout the world, but only sold in his store. He custom designed shoes for Marilyn Monroe and Joan Crawford (a somewhat difficult customer.) His shoes were also worn by Betty Grable, Jayne Mansfield, Carol Channing, and Jackie Kennedy, to name a few.
Classic red, white, and navy blue vintage shoes. Size says '6-1/2 B -- AA Heel.' The sticker on the sole says 'Leather upper, sole, and lining. Other materials man made.' The heel is 2-1/2" high.
Near Mint Condition. Never worn as evidenced by the immaculate soles. The insoles are also in excellent shape with a couple of small spots on one. These shoes have no scrapes, nicks, discoloration, scratches of note, or rubbing wear. The heels are immaculate, the heel tips are unworn. Practically perfect.
