Florsheim Suede Heels

So Betty Davis! Signed 'Florsheim, the most walked about shoes in America.' The signature in the 2nd shoe says 'Lane and Mathews, c/o Capitol (?) Store, Montgomery, Ala.' Far inside on the insole, it says 'Florsheim Florette.' Age is unknown, perhaps 20's, 30's, 40's?? Size written in ink is 8-1/2 aa, but these shoes don't feel particulary narrow. They are quite stiff.
Excellent condition. The brown suede is undamaged, the insoles are intact and in surprisingly excellent condition, and the heels are not worn down. No fading. The ruffles around the decorative button are not the least bit splotchy as the photo may suggest. The bottoms have enough rubbing wear to prove these were worn by someone (to the doctor, church, or maybe the grocery store - back in the day.)
