Joseph LaRose operated a shoe store in Jacksonville Florida for 50 years, but it was a store like no other. He designed his own womens' shoes and had various manufacturers produce them. This pair is signed "Joseph LaRose, Caprini, Firenze Last."
Be warned, LaRose shoes are best bought for resale or for a collection. Sizes run very untrue. These say 6-1/2 S, but are very tiny, probably more like a 5 Slim. The back strap has stretchy elastic.
These are from the warehouse in Jacksonville, discovered after Mr LaRose's death, and have never been worn. They are mint, absolutely mint. The navy part is real suede; the red and white areas are either leather or leatherette; the soles appear to be real leather.
