Alligator Design Shoes by La Rose

Spectacular vintage shoes by Joseph La Rose, rescued from the warehouse in Jacksonville, Florida, after Mr LaRose died. These shoes are size 6-1/2 N, designed for a very narrow foot. There is a sticker on the bottom with tiny letters that appear to read "Antique Alligator Calf." We have no idea what this means. They don't appear to be real alligator.
Mint uppers, never-worn condition. Some insigificant light marks on the soles.
